Governance

Governance

Conf-IRM is governed by an executive committee which works with a conference steering committee to execute the conference each year. It is expected that the conference governance will closely resemble that of ICIS and AIS' regional conferences with a rolling cast of participants who commit to several years of oversight for its development and management. Members of the current executive committee include:

Gerald Grant, Carleton University, Canada (co-chair)

Jairo Gutierrez, AUT University, New Zealand

G Harindranath, Royal Holloway, University of London, UK

Lech Janczewski, University of Auckland, New Zealand

Sherif Kamel, The American University in Cairo, Egypt

Felix B Tan, AUT University, New Zealand (co-chair)

Conference Operation:

Conf-IRM is conducted in accordance to generally accepted practices of academic conferences. The annual conference is directed by a Steering Committee which includes the current conference co-chairs, program co-chairs, and local organizing co-chairs.  It also includes the members of the Conf-IRM Executive Committee as well as the conference co-chairs of the immediate past conference.
All conference submissions will be double-blind and peer reviewed by members of the international program committee. The review process will be handled by the Track Co-Chairs with final decisions made by the Program Co-Chairs. Details of Conf-IRM are located at www.conf-irm.org
